A Little Piece of Chatsworth Lake
This morning after breakfast I was walking to my dorm and heard a very familiar squawking sound. To the east, just past the veiled sun, was a flock of Canadian geese flying south. I guess these geese were a little late for their migration, but I think they stayed late just for me so that I could have a little piece of home.

"Even when I'm far from home
In a land where I'm unknown
I am not alone
God is with me!
For wherever I may go
My Lord is there also
It's comforting to know
God is with me!"

Hang in there. Your's is not an uncommon experience for a new student. It is easy to feel lonely at first, but be patient.
I know a lot of people found it helpful to get involved with a group on canvas or some other extracurricular club. I suggest joining the college republicans (just kidding! Although I was a member, and they did have pizza part once a year. Hmmm... free pizza.) You will find your own path, and given time it will be "fabulous."
I understand how the geese made you feel. Much of Jarudet's rhyme has been motivated by pining for Vermont and points east. I envy you in some respects. You should ask you roommate or somebody (A Shen man perhaps?) to drive you over to see Letchworth Falls. It is truly a sight worth seeing... "The Grand Canyon of the East."
Stay away from those south boys (Remember it is Shen men and South boys.)
Thanks Josh and thank Jarudet for me.
on campus... not on canvas. "I now a lot of people found it helpful to get involved with a group on canvas." Just weird! Where is my mind!
sarah took me to letchworth falls when i visited. you should definitely check it out!
